I didn’t start out chasing job titles or buzzwords I started by wanting to understand how things work. That curiosity slowly turned into a habit of building, breaking, and rebuilding software until it felt right. Over time, that habit became my craft.

I’m Balaaji Sudharshanam, a software developer based in New Zealand. I work primarily with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks, building interfaces that are clean, fast, and easy to use. I’ve worked on real-world, high-traffic applications where performance, maintainability, and user experience actually matter,not just in theory, but in production.

Along the way, I’ve built reusable component systems, integrated CMS-driven backends, refactored legacy code, and collaborated closely with designers and backend engineers to ship features that make a measurable impact. I enjoy taking complex requirements and shaping them into simple, reliable solutions that teams can build on with confidence.

What keeps me motivated is the process itself — learning, improving, and solving problems that sit at the intersection of technology and people. I care about writing code that lasts, interfaces that feel intuitive, and systems that help teams move faster without cutting corners.

I’m continuing to grow toward full-stack development, always curious, always building, and always looking for better ways to turn ideas into working software.
